Getting Ready for Easter!

The boys usually get a treat if they finish their dinner and we usually have a walk or a bicycle ride when it's dry. Tonight has been miserable and as an extra special treat the boys got to make some Easter rice crispy buns instead. I found these fab mico eggs in the local supermarket and they were perfect for the top of the buns to give that Easter flavour.



The boys helped Mummy & Daddy to gather all the ingredients we needed.




When Daddy had melted the chocolate the boys had great fun putting in the rice crispies and mixing them all together. Not sure how much went into the mouth! They did a fantastic job.





Once they were mixed the boys spooned the mixture into bun cases and added the micro eggs on the top. Think more of the eggs were eaten but they had fun.



Instead of giving out Easter eggs this year we are giving everyone a bun made by the two boys. My eldest is so excited as he is taking one for each of his teachers when he goes to playgroup tomorrow.
